Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. I started painting in early 2000 after my girlfriend gave me a great Christmas gift. It was an art seminar that promised a completed acrylic painting within three days. It was one of the most enjoyable and challenging times of my life.
