I started painting in early 2000 after my girlfriend gave me a great Christmas gift. It was an art seminar that promised a completed acrylic painting within three days. It was one of the most enjoyable and challenging times of my life. Andrea Bocelli singing in the background and about 12 students trying to make sense of it all...the drawing, the mixing of colors, the layering of paint and so many more aspects of painting that couldn't possibly be described or learned in a lifetime. I had never been more excited. I knew things would never be the same.
